Eating disorders
MEED scoring and eating-disorder risk monitoring.
The Eating Disorders module adds an ED-specific clinical profile and MEED-based risk monitoring to the patient record. It is a condition-specific clinical module, enabled per organisation.
The ED profile
When the module is enabled, an eating-disorders profile appears in the patient's Clinical tab, holding the condition-specific information that the core record deliberately leaves out.
Body composition (MUAC / skinfold)
The Clinical tab includes a MUAC / skinfold assessment for tracking mid-upper arm circumference and, when the four standard skinfold sites are recorded (triceps, biceps, subscapular, suprailiac), body composition. Qyire calculates body density and body fat % automatically from those measurements using the published Durnin–Womersley method, live as the clinician enters each site — no separate calculation step.
Both figures are shown alongside the raw skinfold readings and are tracked over time on the patient's chart. As with all derived clinical figures, they are a calculated estimate for the clinician to read and verify, not a diagnosis.
MEED risk colours
Qyire surfaces MEED risk using a consistent colour scale so the level is readable at a glance. Scores are capped at 5.

AI-assisted monitoring
The module can offer AI-assisted risk monitoring to help highlight concerning trajectories. This is clinical decision-support: every AI output is labelled "AI generated — clinician must verify" and must be confirmed by a clinician.
