Consultations

Run video consultations with patients, in the patient record.

The Consultations module brings real-time video into the patient record, so a remote appointment and its notes live in the same place as the rest of the patient's care.

Starting a consultation

A clinician starts the consultation from the patient's record. Qyire generates a secure join link for the patient — they don't need an account, they simply open the link to join.

Inviting a guest

Choose Invite guest to bring in someone who isn't the patient — an interpreter, a family member, or a referring GP. Enter their email address (and optionally their name) and Qyire sends them a branded invitation with a calendar invite and a personal join link.

Guests never get a Qyire account and never see any clinical information — they join the video call only. Their link is personal to them and expires with the consultation. You can see who's been invited and withdraw an invitation at any time from the same dialog.

During the call

The video panel sits at the top of the patient pane, above the record tabs, so you can move through the record while you talk. You can take notes during the call; notes are saved automatically as you type.

After the call

When the consultation ends, MIA can draft a structured consultation note from the session for you to review. As with all AI output it is presented as a draft labelled "AI generated — clinician must verify" — review, edit, and confirm it before it becomes part of the record.

Recording and live transcription are rolled out separately and are off by default. They are only available where your clinic has explicitly enabled them.
